			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p> Smashing Magazine recently posted a pretty detailed list of the <a href="http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2007/10/09/30-usability-issues-to-be-aware-of/" title="30 Usability Issues To Be Aware Of">30 Usability Issues To Be Aware Of</a>.  While I&#8217;m sure usability experts will find this list more like an overview, a layman like myself found it informative.  Several of the concepts I&#8217;ve had experience with (2 second rule, 80/20 rule, 3 click rule, Progressive Enhancement, etc.) while others I&#8217;ve been aware of only informally such as consistency in UI.  The one I was most amused by was &#8220;banner blindness&#8221;.</p>
