Sharing good things with the world…

Ingredients:

  • 1 – 12oz package L’il Smoky Smoke Sausages
  • 1 – 1lb package bacon
  • light brown sugar
  • maple syrup
  • aluminum foil
  • jelly roll pan
  • toothpicks

Directions:

  1. preheat oven 350 degrees F
  2. line a sheet tray with aluminum foil (use the type with edges, often called jelly roll pans); you don’t want sweet bacon ‘juice’ dripping
  3. cut bacon strips in thirds
  4. wrap each sausage in bacon, stick with toothpick, place on pan
  5. loosely cover brown sugar over sausages
  6. cook about 45 minutes until golden brown
  7. pour just enough syrup to cover the bottom of crock pot (or other container you will keep the weenies warm in)
  8. place the weenies in serving container/crock pot
